The YMI team was proud to attend the Insurance Agents & Brokers (IA&B) Young Agents Conference at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie, PA. This annual event brings together young professionals from across the region to connect, learn, and grow within the ever-evolving insurance industry — and this year’s conference was one of the best yet.
A Weekend of Learning and Leadership
Five of YMI’s young agents — Jimi Honochick, Emily Ellis, Erica Molinaro, MaKenzie Bernhard, and Paige Hull — joined agents from across the country for a weekend filled with powerful sessions, valuable networking, and plenty of inspiration.
Conference topics this year reflected the changing landscape of our industry, touching on everything from artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to time management, redefining success, and thriving in a multigenerational workplace. Each discussion offered insight into how agents can adapt, innovate, and lead with confidence in a world that’s moving faster than ever.
For our newest team members, the event was a chance to absorb wisdom from experienced professionals, share ideas with peers, and build connections that will help them grow personally and professionally.
Honoring Excellence: Jimi Honochick Named 2025 IA&B Young Agent Award Winner
One of the most exciting moments of the weekend came when YMI’s own Jimi Honochick, CIC, CFA, was recognized as the Pennsylvania 2025 IA&B Young Agent Award recipient.
Now in its sixth year, the IA&B Young Agent Award honors exceptional young insurance professionals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to their clients, their communities, and the industry as a whole. During the conference, 3 winners from each state in the region were introduced through a special video presentation highlighting their accomplishments and leadership.
We couldn’t be prouder of Jimi for earning this well-deserved recognition — his leadership and dedication are an inspiration to all of us at YMI.
