Investing in the Future: Meet Our Summer Intern, Joseph Galle

At YMI Insurance, we don’t just plan for the future—we actively help build it. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our 2025 Summer Sales Intern, Joseph Galle, and celebrate the growing legacy of talented students who’ve contributed to YMI’s growth through our internship and part-time development programs.

Welcome, Joe!

Joseph is a rising senior at Kutztown University, majoring in Finance. He’s a Lehigh Valley native from Nazareth, PA, with a strong interest in business and community engagement. Over the course of the summer, Joseph will work alongside our sales and service teams to gain hands-on experience in client relationships, insurance operations, and strategic growth.

As part of his final project, Joseph will lead an assessment and deliver recommendations on how to strengthen YMI’s sales culture—a real-world challenge that will leave a lasting impact on our agency.

Joseph follows in the footsteps of several outstanding student contributors who have helped shape YMI’s evolution:

Jordan Metzger (Kutztown University, Summer 2021): Played a key role in our brand strategy and rebranding initiative, helping us lay the foundation for our current look and message.
Lucy Schware (Kutztown University, Summer 2023): Supported our reunderwriting efforts and delivered a compelling final project on making YMI more attractive to Gen Z—insights that continue to guide our recruitment and marketing.
Noelle Baxter (Kutztown University, you may be noticing a pattern here!): While balancing school and a part-time role, Noelle served as YMI’s Marketing Coordinator, where she helped lead and organize major campaigns, including the Best of the Lehigh Valley Bracket Challenge. Her drive, creativity, and professionalism left a lasting mark on our outreach strategy.
